Here are the preliminary rain totals for our area trails for 12/4-5/2011.

Herb Parsons from nearby personal weather station.
Sunday 12/4 1.71 in.
Monday 12/5 2.51 in.
Total --------- 4.22 in.

Stanky Creek from nearby personal weather station.
Sunday 12/4 2.15 in.
Monday 12/5 2.55 in.
Total --------- 4.70 in.

Arkabutla from nearby personal weather station.
Sunday 12/4 1.77 in.
Monday 12/5 2.50 in.
Total --------- 4.27 in.

Shelby Farms from Nat. Weather Service at the Agricenter.
Sunday 12/4 2.50 in.
Monday 12/5 3.18 in. record for date.
Total --------- 5.68 in.

Wolf River at Germantown Rd. bridge 15.93 ft. crest.

This looks about right. The ultra-scientific, state-of-the-art "plastic tube stuck in the ground" rain gauge at our house showed 6 inches of rain.

According to the NWS climatology data... 5.42" at the airport. and 5.68" at the Agricenter, Sunday and Monday combined.
