Postby Brad C » Thu Oct 08, 2015 12:58 pm

Our North Mississippi Trail Alliance neighbors are hosting an IMBA Trail Care Crew visit to the area on December 12. The Trail Care Crew is the main way IMBA teaches local mountain bikers sustainable trail design and building.

See attached flyer for more information. There will be a classroom session in the morning, and a field demonstration in the afternoon. You must attend the morning session to participate in the afternoon session. The classroom session is at The Gale Center, 2601 Elm St, Hernando, MS.

If you want to attend the class register at>

Trail Care Crew visits do not come along very often.

One final reminder about the upcoming IMBA TCC visit:

You must register prior to 4:00pm on Friday December 11 in order to attend. The rough schedule on Saturday, December 12th is as follows: Classroom training session at the Gale Center in Hernando from 9:00am until about noon. Lunch will be provided around noon – thanks Hernando Papa John’s! We will depart the Gale Center after lunch and arrive at the field demonstration site at about 1:00pm. The field session will last until about 4:00pm. You must attend the classroom session to attend the field session. See attached flyer for more details.

If you are travelling from out of town, we recommend staying at the Hampton Inn at 2675 Mcingvale Road in Hernando. It is a very nice hotel that is practically brand new, and is conveniently located.

Things to bring: Gloves, sturdy shoes, blaze orange apparel (if you have any). We will have quite a few trail tools available to use, but if you have access to any trail tools, please bring them just in case we need more.

The weather is supposed to be great, especially for middle December.

Please help get the word out by sharing this post to other mountain bike groups that you know have folks attending. We look forward to a great event!
