The last time I saw the tree after bush hogging the bypass it had two cuts that were less than half way through. The cuts are about 4 feet apart. The tree is extremly stable and could support any well made device.

Once you guys decide on what you want to do, get me a sketch and I will take it up with the appropriate people at the park. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. We already have a good bypass so nobody HAS to use the tree thingy. I will be at the park all day Sunday for the Down to Earth event.

More storms Friday. We might be making a new storm fall list on Saturday.

Ok Brad,I'll do that. It might not happen though,I'm super low on play money but I might be able to round up a $100 or so worth of Lowes credit tomorrow. Let me see what I can do and I'll post up tomorrow sometime...Any body want to throw in some greenbacks? If not I'll have enough with credit and some cash now that I think about it

Hold up!, I thought Daniel was building this?

Alright me and Butch are goin out at 9 to check it out and then we are gonna go to Lowes across the street and get what we need. Anyone wanna help tote the lumber back there? Only those who help will be allowed to jump it  All others will have to take the boring horsie path to the side of it

Are moving forward with a construction project without taking it up with Shelby Farms management here?

I was thinking of offering for MSTA to reimburse the material expenses for the project. But ONLY if the project follows the correct protocol. Talk to park management first.

Oh ok,Brad. I thought you had already informed them and just needed a drawing. My apologies. Next week would be better for me anyways. Butch if you want we can still go take a look at it and get some visuals and some measurements .

Lets meet around 9am as planned. I've got some ideas I think you would like. We'll pull some measurements and put together a sketch for Brad. If 8 ft of ramp on each side will work this will be under $100 depending on fasteners.
