Not completely. The wording below is from the Management of Tennessee Natural Resource Areas. Everything just has to be run past TDEC for approval. There is a process and procedure that has to be followed.

"Use of tread materials, footbridges, and elevated walks is permissible when necessary and provided for in the management plan."

All, y'all,

The weather forecast now calls for a chance of rain on Sunday morning with clearing in the afternoon. If it is raining in the morning and the weather map shows that it will last through the morning, we will delay the start time for train work until 1 pm.

Please watch the web site for an early post on Sunday morning about the decision to delay, or not.

I would really like to get this trail work done but do not want to work under unsafe conditions.

One the rain stops, the Yellow trail is very sandy and drains well.

See you on Sunday!

Thanks.

OK All, Y'all,

While there may be some showers tonight before midnight, the morning looks OK. Also, while it's been crappy for 2 days, very little rain has accumulated (<0.5 inch).

So, it's ON for 9 am unless it is raining in the morning.

The privet will be ripe for pruning!

I will be there but will be about 30 minutes late. See you on the trail.

Thanks to Steve K, Rich K, Tommy N, Larry D, and Mike C, along with your humble writer for the work on the yellow trail to 3 plank bridge of north of Walnut Grove. We cleaned up the trail corridor, cut some dead fall in the sand bypass, and mowed the trail with the Mighty DR. This adds 18 man hours to our already good volunteer time total year to date.

I couldn't make it out today (work) but had a chance to get my machete out on the yellow up to the sand bypass yesterday. I tried to get everything within reason up to that point, so that you had a clear run in to your targeted area. I put in about an hour of honest work for your total. I look forward to working with ya'll at some point.

Thanks to all who planned, liasoned, and worked Sunday =D>

Thanks, guys; that was a very productive trail work session. Blind corners have been opened up, the hanging tree on the sand bypass was cleared, and the privet has been significantly pushed back.

Now you can rip it and see who's coming. Get out and ride!
