Clearing the Yellow from Greenline to 3 plank bridge

Postby rich_k » Sat May 25, 2013 5:28 pm

I started to clear the Yellow from the Greenline to the 3 plank this morning and plan to hit it again tomorrow. If anyone wants to earn some MSTA volunteer hours, feel free to join.

I'll start from Podesta at about 7:30 am and work for 3-4 hours.

Weed eaters, pruning saws, machetes, etc. Long pants/sleeves and bug spray.

The park has sanctioned this work.

Great work, Rich! I saw your cutting late Sunday. Trails are drying out!

The trails are growing in fast with all this rain. The yellow from Gtown was especially tight.

I try to ride a little off the trail thread this time of the year to beat down some of the growth.

Bravo to any of you guys who are contributing with the cutting this year!

RIP
I spend all my money on bike parts and beer. The rest I just waste!
