Thanks to Steve K, Mike V, Matt L, Rich K, Robert B, Jim L, Matt Mc, and your humble narrator for helping with reroute around a section of the yellow trail that is falling into the Wolf River. It is sometimes amazing what can be accomplished by 8 mountain bikers in 3 hours.

This is the old trail section that is collapsing into the river.

OK, I admit it; I like the new bypass. Rode it today as fast as I could from east to west; nice "features"!

I sent the same set of pictures to the Shelby Farms list late Saturday. Operations Manager Larry Pickens replied in a little while. More responses will probably arrive in the next few days.

Great job! Pictures do tell the story!

Thanks
Larry

Sorry I missed it. I was in Alabama. Plus I've been about as sick as I've ever been. I can hardly breathe with all my congestion. Hope u guys knocked it out. I did get myself another chainsaw and a trailer. I will try and come out to the next one. Thanks again guys.

For our non-Facebook readers, over on the MSTA Facebook page we received some positive comments about this project from the running community.
-----
As a runner, I'd like to say THANK YOU in a big way. The mtn bike community has and continues to do wonderful things to maintain the trails used by both mtn bikes and runners alike. I'm happy to share the trails with them. Just let me know when you're coming up from behind me so I can move over.
-----
I had a chance to run the new section yesterday. Outstanding. Thanks to everyone.
